This is a wolf tooth necklace, hand carved from some beautiful translucent green jade.

I’ve made this one around x3 the size of the real wolf tooth I used as reference, so we could perhaps say it was from a dire wolf that would have once roamed these lands alongside the woolly mammoth and mighty cave bear.

I've tried to replicate as much of the natural features found on a wolf's tooth as I could, studying my reference tooth both before and whilst I was carving and even placing them on the jade on the days I wasn’t carving… Just a little something I like to do with these pieces. In my head, it helps infuse the stone with the energy of the animal that aids it into its new shape.

The jade piece is 8cm long, and comes with a hand carved mammoth ivory toggle as well as hand woven cordage.
